Note the atypical day, time and place of this lecture.

Charles Hale gives the talk as part of the Franklin College Visiting Scholar Program. His talk will explore shifts in positionality involved in activist research, and explore the question of why academia has been so reluctant to take up the call foractivist scholarship and institutionalize its key tenets.

This lecture is also sponsored by the UGA Department of Anthropology and the Center for Integrative Conservation.
