Anthropology Mentor Program

The Anthropology Graduate Student Organization (AGSO) offers the Mentor Program to facilitate the transition from your Undergraduate studies to Graduate school or employment in the professional world. We have created an information sheet that will help us match you up with the graduate student that can best speak to your interests. Please return the completed form via email to Seungyeon Hong (seungyeon@uga.edu); physical copies can be handed into Mary Keilman (Mary.Keilman@uga.edu) in the Department of Anthropology Main Office (Baldwin Hall Room 250). ROLLING SUBMISSIONS

Once you have been assigned a mentor, they will contact you to determine how you can most benefit from the program. Potential activities include: revising job and/or graduate school applications, preparing for presentations at academic conferences, participating in data analysis or collection, and drafting publications. The exact form that this program takes will depend on your own interests and the opportunities available to your mentor. We look forward to helping you prepare for your postgraduate journey!
