Assistant Professor My research focuses on utilizing multiple lines of evidence (including compositional, ceramic stylistic, and lithic analyses) to reconstruct interactive networks and model socio-cultural boundaries at various scales in the past. While I primarily work in Southeastern Europe where I direct the Prehistoric Interactions on the Plain Project (PIPP; https://www.pipproject.org/), I also conduct research in the American Southwest and American Southeast. Most recently, I have focused on bridging the past with the present through community archaeological and heritage science efforts both locally in the Athens area (UAT-Sandy Creek) and internationally (Vésztő-Mágor Conservation and Exhibition Program).
