Curriculum Vitae:

I am an environmental archaeologist whose research focuses on human-ecosystem interactions along both the North American and European coastlines of the Atlantic. I combine analyses of tree rings, botanicals, shells and other faunal remains, and coastal palaeohydrology in order to better understand the localized manifestations of climate change episodes in the ancient past and how these shifts intersected with cultural trajectories. I am also working to employ deep-time archaeological and paleoenvironmental data to inform and improve coastal management policy in the 21st century.
